🛣️ Improvements to Idlewood Road
Big shoutout to Councilwoman Cara Schroeder and the Tucker City staff for teaming up with the Department of Watershed Management to tackle the problem of the protruding steel plate on Idlewood Road, near the Cowan intersection.
Because cars always veered into the right turn lane to avoid the steel plate, it posed a serious safety risk for drivers turning onto Idlewood from Cowan. Thanks to their efforts, this eyesore and hazard has been removed — making our roads safer for everyone! 🙌

🍖 Tucker’s Blue Ribbon Grill Relocating
Tucker’s Blue Ribbon Grill is relocating to the North Hills Shopping Center in Embry Hills. Owner Jennifer Greene said they closed their restaurant in February due to rent increases.
The restaurant’s new address is 3352-C Chamblee Tucker Road. They plan to continue their neighborhood bar and grill concept with the menu they’re known and loved for.
“Our new location is just down the road from our prior home in Tucker, and we feel it offers us the best space and opportunity for continuing Blue Ribbon Grill in this area.”
Jennifer and her husband are also opening a second restaurant next door called Jenovelle, a European food concept.
