🌳 Tucker Town Green’s Construction Starts
Construction for Tucker Town Green has officially started! 🙌
Work is expected to last until the summer or fall of 2025. Starting from October 23, Railroad Ave will be closed past the parking lot access behind Local 7. The closure will last several months while Hasbun Construction brings the new park to life.

🌽 Tucker’s Farmers Market: LAST MARKET OF 2024 (10/24)
Tucker's Farmers Market is open every Thursday (4-7pm) at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (4882 Lavista Road) until October. Shop from 25+ vendors providing local fruits & veggies, baked goods, and more!
October 24th is the last Farmers Market of the season — don’t miss out!
Here’s the lineup of food trucks for October 24th:
Lobster Dogs Food Truck: Lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls, and stuffed avocados
Fitzgerald Smoked Meats: Brunswick stew, pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and more
Sabor Provisions: Empanadas sweet or savory, drinks, dips
Sweet Sweet Syria: Chicken mandi, falafel & chicken shawarma, and more
Vanilla Crepes: Sweet or savory crepes
Other call-outs:
There will be Tucker merchandise: baseball hats, beanies, bucket hats, stickers, magnets; custom size and color orders possible
Banner Butter Sale (any 2 for $10) including flavors like lemon chive, roasted garlic, basil & parsley, dark chocolate, and more!
Tucker LaVista Lions Club will be there — bring your used glasses, cellphones, and hearing aids for recycling.

🥤 Blue Mango’s Tucker Location is Open!
In case you missed it, Blue Mango’s new Tucker location is officially open! Located at 4420 Hugh Howell Road, Blue Manger is a super food cafe that offers smoothies, plant based protein and supplements, and healthy meals.
Some of their best sellers include their smoothie bowls and their ginger beer slushy. Check them out and see what all the rave reviews are about!
