🤝 Nicky’s Undefeated & NETWorks Cooperative Ministry
Nicky’s Undefeated will have their soft opening on August 6th! 🙌 Best friends Michael Lo and Walt Gebelein are bringing their love for sandwiches to Tucker, serving up Italian-American classics like cheesesteaks, hoagies, and Jersey-style pizza.
As part of their soft opening, Nicky’s Undefeated is donating proceeds to NETWorks Cooperative Ministry, a local organization and food pantry program that feeds hundreds of people a week, provides families with school supplies, and helps prevents homelessness through financial assistance.
❌ Tucker Shooting Near LongHorn Steakhouse
Early Sunday morning, a 33 year old man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg along Hugh Howell Road in Tucker. Police were called to the scene near LongHorn Steakhouse at 12:19am and quickly took the victim to the hospital. His injury was not life-threatening.
Authorities believe the shooting resulted from a physical altercation. The victim’s identity has not been released and no suspect information is available yet. The investigation is still ongoing.

Tucker's Farmers Market is open every Thursday (4-7pm) at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (4882 Lavista Road) until October. Shop from 25+ vendors providing local fruits & veggies, baked goods, and more!
Here’s the lineup of food trucks for August 1st:
Baltimore Crab Cake Company Food Truck - authentic crab cakes, cream of crab soup, crab queso with pretzel bites, beef hotdogs and more
Fitzgerald Smoked Meats - food truck w/ Brunswick stew, pulled pork, ribs, brisket and more
Vanilla Crepes- sweet or savory crepes
Sabor Provisions - sweet or savory empanadas, drinks, and dips
Sweet Sweet Syria - chicken mandi, falafel, chicken shawarma and more
Tomatoes, peaches, watermelons, berries, and more are in season! Goat cheese, goat and cows milk also available this week, in addition to pork, beef, chicken, lamb and goat meat.
