😢 Farewell to Another Local Favorite: Local Breweries Tap Out
High Card and Blue Tarp are closing their shared taproom on Main Street after a five-year run. The businesses will serve their final pints on February 23.

Rising costs proved too much for the operation, with monthly rent hitting $9,400 for the 6,500-square-foot space. The closure adds to a growing list of brewery shutdowns in metro Atlanta, with 6 others closing their doors in 2024 alone.
While the breweries are leaving, their prime location next to Tucker's new $5.6 million Town Green project – set to open in Fall 2025 – could attract new businesses looking to capitalize on expected increased foot traffic. The building's owner hasn't revealed plans for the space's future use.
Be sure to swing by the breweries and show them some love one last time! 🍺
