📝 Tucker Mayoral Race Heats Up for November Election
Tucker's getting its first new mayor since the city was incorporated back in 2016. Current Mayor Frank Auman is term-limited, so he's stepping down after serving as the city's one and only mayor since day one.
Three candidates are vying for the top spot:
Anne Lerner - former councilmember
Noelle Monferdini - former councilmember
Beverly Williams - newcomer to city politics
It's not just the mayor's race that's competitive this year - every single incumbent councilmember is facing a challenger, which should make for an interesting election night.
City Council races:
District 1: Roger Orlando (incumbent) vs. Karen Peters
District 2: Cara Schroeder (incumbent) vs. Patrice Cosby
District 3: Sam Ulrich vs. Alexis Weaver (incumbent)
📅 Key voting dates to remember:
Voter registration deadline: Oct. 6
Early voting: Oct. 14-31 (weekdays 7am-7pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday noon-5pm)
Absentee ballot deadline: Oct. 24
Election Day: Nov. 4
With competitive races across the board, Tucker voters will have plenty of choices to make come November. Check your voter registration status on the Georgia Secretary of State's website to make sure you're ready to vote.
