🚌 Car Hits School Bus with Tucker High Students
A school bus carrying Tucker High School students was rear-ended on Britt Road near Tucker Norcross Road on Friday, September 13. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, though some students complained of neck pain.
The driver of the sedan that hit the bus was cited for failing to yield, and one child was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The school principal was on-site following the incident.

🏢 Tucker’s Science Gallery in Northlake Mall is open!
The Science Gallery relocated from Pullman Yards to Northlake Mall and had its grand opening on Saturday, September 14th.

Science Gallery Atlanta’s mission and purpose are to create multi-dimensional experiences that foster a dynamic new model for community engagement focused on imagination, innovation, and participatory science.
Located at 4800 Briarcliff Rd NE, admission is free and many exhibits are interactive! Be sure to check out the latest exhibition, Resilient Earth.

Tucker's Farmers Market is open every Thursday (4-7pm) at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (4882 Lavista Road) until October. Shop from 25+ vendors providing local fruits & veggies, baked goods, and more!

The new DBA Tacos & BBQ location is now open at 4530 East Ponce de Leon Ave! So far, people are saying the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the smoked wings, ribs and tacos are worth checking out!

Location: Tucker Recreation Center

Join the community this Saturday for a fun evening filled with fun and games! Compete in events like Tug of War, Giant Pong, Cornhole Tournament, and more! Registration will include a meal ticket and 2 beer tickets (with ID).
Childcare is available for ages 5-12 for $5 per child. Otherwise free event!
