🛣️ Major Road Upgrades w/ SPLOST Funds

Tucker is making big improvements to its roads, parks, and sidewalks thanks to the Special Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) funding. Approved by voters back in 2017, SPLOST 1 was a six-year, one penny sales tax that set aside funds primarily for roads, parks, and sidewalks.

Recent improvements include repaving streets like Roger Marten Way and others throughout different Tucker neighborhoods. In 2023, voters approved a SPLOST extension, which will generate millions of dollars for more improvements.

City officials say they’ve already upgraded over 90 miles of streets and built five miles of new sidewalks and trails. 🙌

Tucker's Farmers Market is open every Thursday (4-7pm) at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (4882 Lavista Road) until October. Shop from 25+ vendors providing local fruits & veggies, baked goods, and more!

Here’s the lineup of food trucks for June 27th:
