🥒 Tucker Residents Rally Against New Pickleball Courts
At the recent Tucker City Council meeting, plans for new pickleball courts at the Tucker Recreation Center sparked quite a bit of debate.
Residents, especially those living along Morgan Road, voiced their concerns about potential noise and bright lights from the courts. Many felt the expense wasn’t justified given the number of local pickleball players.
A public meeting is scheduled for November 7th at 7 pm. Neighboring Avondale Estates is also grappling with similar issues; they’re considering new rules like a $5 fee for non-residents and requiring foam balls to cut down on noise.
