Several Tucker businesses on Main Street were targeted in a burglary overnight on July 15th. The suspects broke windows and stole cash registers from Munster Cravings, Village Burger, Corner Cup, and Las Colinas.
Village burger released surveillance video footage of the incident.
Despite initial reports of arrests, police clarified that no suspects have been apprehended yet. The investigation is ongoing, with similarities noted to other recent burglaries in DeKalb County, though any connections remain unclear.

❌ Polygamist Group Squatters Evicted from Tucker Residence
A group of squatters allegedly linked to a polygamist group called Carbon Nation were evicted from a house in Tucker. DeKalb County prosecutors refer to Carbon Nation as a sex cult, and at least 2 of the squatters were identified for their association with the cult.
The group had moved into the residence following their leader’s conviction for serious crimes earlier in the year. Neighbors raised issues regarding the overflowing septic tank, which prompted action from Tucker officials and the property owner.
Authorities intervened quickly, removing the squatters and addressing community concerns.
