👀 Is Tucker rebranding to Dayton?!
Residents of Tucker noticed signage reading “Dayton, Georgia” being put up across Tucker. While the city is not renaming to Dayton, it is serving as the filming location of a handful of productions. While it’s unclear which show this new signage is for, it’s a toss-up between:
The Band
Weapons
Maybrook

🔥 Vehicle on Fire at Tucker Chevron
Tucker residents were shocked to see a vehicle and gas pump on fire at the Chevron gas station on Chamblee Tucker at Northcrest.
Thankfully, no one was injured. The cause of the incident is still unknown.

❌ No suspect in Tucker Kidnapping
A 67-year old woman was kidnapped and violently assaulted in March, leaving the community on edge. The DeKalb Police are still actively investigating the incident but haven’t found leads on who did it, despite reaching out to the media for help. They believe this was an isolated incident but are advising the public to stay alert and safe.
The victim suffered severe injuries and received treatment at Grady Hospital. The investigation remains ongoing.

Tucker's Farmers Market is open every Thursday (4-7pm) at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (4882 Lavista Road) until October. Shop from 25+ vendors providing local fruits & veggies, baked goods, and more!
