Tucker Fit Week kicks off! (Upcoming events like Rubber Ducky Scavenger Hunt and Pi Day PIE-K 🥧 )
Spring events galore — mark your calendars now!
Ever felt like you had the worst lawn on the block?
That was us last spring — cringing at our weed-filled yard, watching our family pull weeds every time they visited our home. After disappointing results with a big lawn care company, Show Turf Lawn Care knocked on our door.
The difference? The week we signed up, Ryan – the founder – was personally inspecting and pulling weeds from our lawn.
No corporate call centers, no delayed responses, no cookie-cutter treatments. Just dedicated, personalized care that transformed our embarrassing yard into one we're proud of. He treated our lawn like his own.
Experience the Show Turf difference today - call/text Ryan @(470) 925-9224.
We love hearing from you.

🏞️ John Homestead Group Proposes Alternative to Tucker's Pickleball Complex
As Tucker City Council considers a controversial $3 million pickleball complex, the Friends of Johns Homestead Park have suggested redirecting some of those funds toward preserving the historic Johns Homestead.
The homestead, built around 1829, is one of DeKalb County's oldest remaining homes but is deteriorating due to neglect. The nonprofit group estimates preservation costs would be significantly higher than a 15-year-old estimate of $100K.
If we have millions of dollars to spend on a pickleball facility that seemingly most people don't want, why not take some of that money and spend it on historic preservation of this very beloved historic site?"

City Councilmember Cara Schroeder maintains the city isn't neglecting the property. Tucker has invested $4.7 million in dam rehabilitation and other park improvements, including $51.7K for a preservation plan and $13K for a national registry application. Schroeder noted the city is waiting for the homestead to be added to the National Register of Historic Places to become eligible for additional funding.
