🚥 New speed limits and signs on Brockett Road
After a several year-long process, new signs are up on Brocket Road! The speed limit is now 35 mph.
The process involved conducting a speed study, implementing traffic calming measures, and submitting an application to receive approval from the Georgia Department of Transportation. By following this process, the new speed limit is enforceable by DeKalb County police.

🗣️ Pickeball Proposal Community Meeting Tonight!
The community meeting for the proposed 12-court pickleball complex is tonight, November 7th @ 7pm! Meeting will be held at 4898 Lavista Road.
Some Tucker residents are against the proposed pickeball courts behind the Tucker Recreation Center, citing concerns about noise, increased traffic, and light pollution from LED lights. They fear the project will disrupt their quiet neighborhood, create parking and safety issues, and lead to the loss of green space.
